Visitor economy businesses across Liverpool City Region with current or future recruitment needs are being invited to attend an employer engagement session hosted by The King’s Trust, exploring how employers can connect with ready to work young people and access recruitment support.

The session, Strengthening Employer Partnerships for Young People, will bring together employers from a range of sectors to learn more about The King’s Trust’s support for employers, understand local youth employment challenges and explore opportunities to help more young people into sustainable jobs.

Delivered by The King’s Trust, formerly The Prince’s Trust, the event will focus on introducing employers to the organisation’s recruitment support offer, highlighting the demand for jobs among young people in the Liverpool City Region and gathering employer feedback to help shape future programmes and services.

For visitor economy employers facing workforce and recruitment challenges, the session provides an opportunity to share insights on hiring needs, hear from organisations already working with The King’s Trust and explore partnership opportunities that could support both business growth and positive outcomes for young people.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn how The King’s Trust supports employers to recruit young people in the region.
  • Gain insight into youth employment needs and opportunities across Liverpool City Region.
  • Hear first hand from employer partners and young people who have benefited from Trust programmes.
  • Share recruitment challenges and help influence future programme development.
  • Explore partnership opportunities and find out more about the Trust’s upcoming Get Hired event.

The agenda includes presentations on youth employment in the region, examples of successful employer partnerships, facilitated discussions on recruitment challenges and information about next steps for organisations interested in working with The King’s Trust. Networking and refreshments will be available from 12.00pm, with the formal session beginning at 12.30pm.
