Welcome to the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2026/27. The awards celebrate the best of the Liverpool City Region’s £6.25bn visitor economy sector and with 20 categories up for grabs there’s something for all businesses in the tourism industry.
Applications for the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards open on 2nd July 2026 and will close on Monday 7th September at 5PM.

Followed by First Round Judging
Tuesday 13th October 2025 – Shortlist Announced / Ticket on Sale.
Followed by Second Round Judging/Mystery Shop
4 February 2027 – Tourism Awards Ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral
How to Apply
- Award entries are easy to complete and are open to all tourism related businesses in the Liverpool City Region across 20 categories. Businesses can enter more than one category if relevant.
- Choose which category you wish to enter; there might be more than one that is relevant to your business.
- Read ‘advice and guidance’ and our 'Top Tips' before you start drafting your application.
- Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions for entry.
- All entries must be submitted via the online nominations portal (will go live on 2nd July 2026) by the deadline – Monday 7th September 2026 (5PM). Extensions will not be permitted.
- Nominations cannot be accepted via email or any other format.
- Entering the awards is FREE.
