RSVP Today: Liverpool City Region’s Accessibility for All Forum 2026

Businesses and organisations across Liverpool City Region’s visitor economy are being encouraged to secure their place now for the ‘Accessibility for All Forum’ to be held on 29 June 2026 at the M&S Bank Arena – Liverpool Experience Campus.

Returning in an expanded conference format, the forum will bring together visitor economy businesses, transport providers, event organisers and accessibility experts to explore how the region can become fully “Event Ready” ahead of a landmark period for the city region.

With major international events on the horizon – including the groundbreaking Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival from 2-8 May 2027, the Tour de France Grand Départ 2027 and UEFA EURO 2028 – the event will focus on how Liverpool City Region can continue building its reputation as one of the UK’s leading destinations for accessible and inclusive experiences.

This year’s forum will  he hosted by one of the UK’s most recognisable Paralympians and broadcasters, Ade Adepitan MBE, whose involvement brings national profile, credibility and energy to the region’s accessibility ambitions. He said:

“Liverpool has a long history of welcoming people from all over the world, and it’s brilliant to see the region putting accessibility at the heart of its future. With some of the biggest sporting events on the horizon, this is a huge moment to show how inclusive, ambitious and forward-thinking the city can be. I’m proud to be part of this forum because when accessibility is done well, it transforms the experience for disabled people and creates a better, more enjoyable journey for every visitor. Liverpool has the passion and the drive to set a new benchmark, and I’m excited to help champion that.”

The event will also feature an range of inspiring and engaging speakers. who have each helped shape national conversations around accessibility and inclusive experiences, including:

  • Ben Quilter – Paralympian
  • Rio Boothe – Para-athlete and Content Creator
  • Christopher Massam – Accessibility Lead, Everton Stadium
  • Niamh Parrington – Visitor Experience Manager, Eureka!
  • Clare Briegal MBE – Chair of Sport Liverpool and sports representative for the LCRDP Board

The event will move beyond discussing why accessibility matters and instead focus on practical action – exploring what visitors with accessibility requirements want from their trip, how organisations can collaborate to create seamless journeys, and the steps businesses can take to become leaders in accessibility best practice.
