Wirral Met College to Launch New Employer‑Led Employability Programme, Wirral Works

Wirral Met College will officially launch Wirral Works, a new employer‑led employability programme designed to connect local people with real job opportunities across the Wirral, at a launch event taking place on Wednesday 15 April.

Wirral Works brings together local employers, training provision and tailored support to help adults aged 19 and over who are unemployed or economically inactive gain the skills, confidence and experience needed to move into sustainable employment.

The launch event is aimed at employers, partners, stakeholders and organisations with an interest in workforce development, employability, skills provision and economic growth across the Wirral.

During the event, attendees will hear how the programme works, how it supports local residents back into work, and how employers can benefit from access to a job‑ready local workforce.
