The results are in and we are delighted to announce Liverpool Convention Bureau has once again been named a finalist at this year’s M&IT Awards for Best UK Convention Bureau following on from bringing home Bronze in 2024.

A symbol of industry excellence, the M&IT Awards bring together more industry professionals than any other awards event to recognise the people and places that drive the Meetings and Incentive Travel sector forward.

Seen as the industry ‘Oscars’, being an M&IT Finalist is an accolade in itself and wonderful news for the Liverpool Convention Bureau team and city.

The six finalists in this category will now need to wait until 19th September to see who has won Gold, Silver or Bronze in each category.

And it is not only team LCB celebrating, ACC Liverpool are finalists for Best UK Conference Centre and Liverpool Cathedral for Best Unusual Venue!

Lisa Owen, Head of Business Tourism from Liverpool Convention Bureau said:

“This is fantastic news for Liverpool, to have Liverpool Convention Bureau, ACC Liverpool and Liverpool Cathedral all recognised as finalists is a credit to all the hard work the people and venues put in to make events a huge success in Liverpool City Region.

“I would like to thank all of our colleagues, clients and partners that voted for Liverpool to be nominated in this prestigious category. Your votes are a testament to the commitment from the team who continue to deliver world-class business tourism experiences across the region. I’m incredibly proud of our team’s dedication and the region’s vibrant offering for conferences and events.”

M&IT editor and head of the judging panel Paul Harvey said:

“We are so excited to reveal the finalists of this year’s M&IT Awards. Firstly, thanks so much to everyone who entered, nominated and canvassed for votes – we absolutely couldn’t do this without you.

“The calibre of entries was unbelievably high and there are fantastic nominees in every single category. It’s a real shame that each award can only have one winner, there are so many deserving people and businesses”
