Liverpool’s Landmark City Halls Unite Under Bold New Identity

Liverpool’s historic venues—St George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, and Croxteth Hall—have embarked on an exciting new chapter, uniting under a single brand: Liverpool City Halls. This rebranding initiative, launched on April 15, 2025, aims to celebrate the unique heritage of each hall while fostering a collective identity that resonates with the community.

A Unified Legacy

For centuries, these halls have been integral to Liverpool’s cultural and civic life, hosting events ranging from royal visits to community gatherings. Recognising their shared significance, the new Liverpool City Halls brand seeks to honour their individual stories while highlighting their collective impact on the city’s narrative.

More Than a Rebrand

The initiative goes beyond visual changes; it’s an invitation for residents and visitors alike to reconnect with these spaces. Whether it’s celebrating milestones, enjoying a casual coffee, or participating in community events, the halls are positioned as welcoming venues for all.

Symbolic Design

Central to the rebrand is a new logo featuring three intertwined lines, each representing one of the halls. This design symbolises their interconnected histories and shared journey, reflecting both tradition and progress.

Celebrating Milestones

The rebranding coincides with significant anniversaries: St George’s Hall’s 170th in 2024 and Croxteth Hall’s 450th in 2025. These milestones underscore the enduring relevance of these institutions in Liverpool’s evolving story.

Enhanced Community Engagement

New additions like the Stable Gallery at St George’s Hall and Café 1575 at Croxteth Hall provide fresh opportunities for community interaction, showcasing local art and offering inviting spaces for socialising.

A Message to the Community

Angie Redhead, Head of Operations, emphasised the community-centric vision:

“Over the decades, these Halls evolved, but they remain for the people of this city and the moments that define us.

They’re more than just historic sites; they’re places for learning, celebration, creativity, and community.

The people of this city have always shaped the story of our Halls and so this rebrand is about making sure everyone knows: these spaces are yours; for your celebrations, your life moments, and your memories.”
