THE RESULTS ARE IN – LIVERPOOL’S HOSTING OF EUROVISION 2023 DELIVERS BIG FOR CITY REGION

Young Artists Shine Bright for River of Light

Some of the artists behind this year’s River of Light installations will be inspiring minds and illuminating creativity with special workshops this week. Names to be added to World War One Roll of Honour at Liverpool Town Hall

World War One servicemen will be honoured on Friday 27 October when their names are added to the Roll of Honour at Liverpool Town Hall. A total of 13 men who lost their lives will be added to the plaque in the Hall of Remembrance, with the inscription reading: “Their name liveth evermore”. In celebration of the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s First Folio, Shakespeare North Playhouse will be offering 400 theatre tickets to see The Book of Will for only 1p! Labour Party Conference Boosts Liverpool Economy by £29 Million

Source: LBN Daily  Businesses in Liverpool city centre benefited to the tune of an estimated £29m during the Labour Conference earlier this month. Around 18,000 delegates attended the conference, held at ACC Liverpool, Exhibition Centre Liverpool and the M&S Bank Arena for the second year running. Funding boost to develop Liverpool City Region’s film and TV talent

A brand new funding agreement is set to boost film and TV skills across Liverpool City Region and champion equality, inclusivity and diversity in the sector.
