Liverpool City Region visitor economy businesses can now access a range of fully funded cyber security support through the Cyber Resilience Centre for the North West (NWCRC), helping them protect customer data, strengthen digital systems, and reduce the risk of cyber attacks.
Available at no cost to LVEP members, the support begins with a free one-to-one Cyber Security Health Check. Delivered by the NWCRC’s team of experts, the assessment provides practical, jargon-free advice tailored to each organisation’s digital infrastructure.
The offer is particularly relevant for hospitality businesses, hotels, attractions, and tourism operators that rely on online booking systems, EPOS networks, guest Wi-Fi, and cloud-based business platforms to deliver services and manage customer information.
Following the initial consultation, eligible businesses can also access a suite of fully funded cyber security services, including:
- Security awareness training for employees
- Vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks
- Microsoft 365 security reviews
- Practical recommendations to strengthen cyber resilience
The support is funded by the Home Office and delivered through the Cyber Resilience Centre for the North West, a police-led partnership established to help businesses and organisations protect themselves against growing digital threats.
