The successful candidate will lead the organisation’s internal and external communications activity, developing and delivering a reputation-led, digitally focused communications strategy that promotes Liverpool City Region as a place to visit, invest, study, work and live.
Owned by Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, LCRDP is the region’s Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), responsible for showcasing the city region’s six local authority areas to visitors, conference organisers, investors and wider audiences around the world.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the PR & Communications Manager will oversee media relations, create engaging content across multiple channels, manage press enquiries, build relationships with journalists and influencers, and work closely with partners including VisitBritain, VisitEngland and local authorities across the city region.
The role would suit a communications professional with significant senior-level experience and a proven ability to secure coverage across consumer and trade media, while developing impactful campaigns that enhance organisational reputation and audience engagement.
