VisitLiverpool Showcases Liverpool City Region at the British Tourism & Travel Show

VisitLiverpool is gearing up to showcase Liverpool City Region at the British Tourism & Travel Show (BTTS) from 19-20 March.

Showcasing a selection of must-see visitor attractions as part of the region’s wider visitor offering alongside key partners, VisitLiverpool will highlight the region’s rich history, vibrant culture, and world-class attractions that make it a must-visit destination.

BTTS brings together group travel inspiration from across the UK and Ireland, showcasing ideas for group travel itineraries. Visitors will leave with fresh insights, valuable connections and lots of ideas for things to do across Liverpool City Region by visiting the team on stand. 

James Wood, Marketing Manager at Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership said:

BTTS gives us the opportunity to showcase the diverse visitor offering we have for group travel across the region to travel operators, coach tour operators, travel agents and industry professionals. With music, culture, sport, film, food & drink and the great outdoors at the heart of Liverpool City Region’s tourism offer, there’s plenty to explore for every itinerary. It also makes for a great base for day trips to the rest of the North West, with easy access to North Wales, Chester, Manchester and Cumbria. 

2025 will also see some incredible events take over the region including The Randox Grand National Festival, Liverpool Biennial, Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet, Anfield Summer Concerts, The Southport Flower Show, World Boxing Championships 2025 and River of Light to name a few, a perfect addition to any itinerary.

RLB360 Tour

The Royal Liver Building 360 (RLB360) Tour offers a unique perspective on Liverpool’s skyline from one of its most iconic landmarks. Visitors can explore the historic building, learn about its significance and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and beyond. The tour also takes you to the exact spot they filmed 2022 ‘The Batman’.

Port Sunlight Village

A picturesque model village built by William Lever in the late 19th century for his soap factory workers, Port Sunlight is a beautifully preserved heritage site. With its stunning architecture, fascinating museum, and lush green spaces, it provides a glimpse into a unique piece of British social history. Bring your group to explore the award-winning Port Sunlight Museum and embark on a guided tour by foot or coach, with special discounts and packages available.
