Businesses and organisations across Liverpool City Region’s visitor economy are being encouraged to save the date and secure their place now for the return of the Accessibility for All Forum on 29 June 2026 at the M&S Bank Arena – Liverpool Experience Campus.
Returning in an expanded conference format for 2026, the forum will bring together visitor economy businesses, transport providers, event organisers and accessibility experts to explore how the region can become fully “Event Ready” ahead of a landmark period for the city region.
With major international events on the horizon – including the groundbreaking Inclusive Sport and Culture Festival from 2-8 May 2027, the Tour de France Grand Départ 2027 and UEFA EURO 2028 – the event will focus on how Liverpool City Region can continue building its reputation as one of the UK’s leading destinations for accessible and inclusive experiences.
This year’s forum will also feature a high-profile host, widely recognised across the UK for championing accessibility, inclusion and disability rights through sport and broadcasting. While organisers are keeping the identity under wraps for now, attendees can expect an inspiring and engaging figure who has helped shape national conversations around accessibility and inclusive experiences.
The event will move beyond discussing why accessibility matters and instead focus on practical action – exploring what visitors with accessibility requirements want from their trip, how organisations can collaborate to create seamless journeys, and the steps businesses can take to become leaders in accessibility best practice.
Opening speakers and panel contributors will be announced in the coming weeks, with discussions set to cover accessibility across events, venues, transport, accommodation, attractions and the wider visitor journey.
