Dan Acher’s captivating art installation, Borealis, recently concluded its highly successful installation at Liverpool’s iconic Royal Albert Dock, drawing in record-breaking crowds with over 106K visitors recorded at the dock between 6-11pm across the 10 days.
The globally acclaimed art-installation, which gives the illusion of the magical Northern Lights, has left a lasting impression on the city and its visitors, with the footfall figures highlighting Liverpool’s status as a vibrant cultural hub.
Borealis transformed the historic Hartley Quay into a mesmerising spectacle, attracting all generations from across the Liverpool City Region and beyond. The installation’s accessibility and universal appeal resonated deeply with Liverpool’s diverse population, offering a sense of unity and shared experience for all visitors.
Having exhibited in over 40 cities across the world, Borealis in Liverpool has ranked number 1 in the number of visitors in a 10 day time period compared to other major cities including Sydney, London and Paris to name a few.
